It's a word-for-word parody of Susan Powter's first workout video, featuring poodles and a crazy poodle-woman. Absolutely surreal. It was made by Nagi Noda for Panasonic. It was part of 10 films they made for the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Have serious injuries to left side of body: ankle, foot, knee, hip, & stomach areas. Left leg was crushed + l leg cut 50% through at knee, donor site for l leg was subscapular area-5.5"X10.5" approx. I started a Pilates class 2 weeks ago and have had 3 sessions. I felt everything better next day after first session. I walk taller, better posture and have actually lost half a stone in weight so far and trimmed two inches from my wist. im a 32" now. The only guy in the class, my pals laughed at me. Now they are facinated by Pilates. Its fantastic!

Losing and gaining any weight that fast isn't healthy at all. The best way to lose weight is when it's done in a slow steady pace that way your body can adjust itself better and that's where you really lose the weight and keep it off. I'm not saying it's impossible, because I've lost 10 pounds in a week, but it depends on ones body. I've found out by allowing the body to adjust the weight stays off longer. I've been a size 8 for about yr and 1/2. Good luck on your goal.

It was very difficult to do, but I think with time one can be as good as you. I've been trying to look for a way to flatten my stomach. You see I've lost 7 inches around my hips and butt area, and 3 inches around my chest as well as 2 inches around my upper arms, but my stomach is still the same. I think by adding this to my hour routine might do the trick.

Dang that was a hoot. It reminded me when Stars on Ice was in Pittsburgh during the 90's, and Kristi Yamaguchi was giving a treat to a make-a-wish kid with the help of Jaromir Jagr. Kristi was showing the kid and Jaromir basic skating moves and she ended up making Yags do a spiral. Sai, single or plural, or use zai for the plural. Quality is hard to judge over the internet - Shureido is the company that makes the best ones out of Okinawa, but if you go cheaper, make sure they are steel, and usually the black steel is better than chrome, since the chrome can hide a cheaper heart (like aluminum). That said, my first pair were aluminum anodized with a near-pink red color, and I still learned something with them!

I agree. I tried one of these resistance bands and the band came off of the handle and hit me right in the face. I do have a resistance band that is just the band and it works much better. It's good because you can increase the resistance by wrapping it around your hands more. I like to use it while I'm at work. But, generally, I use barbells and dumbbelss.

I've had the same problem...don't get protein shakes / those designer brands break down the formula to such a degree that nothing gets absorbed by your body b/c of your high metabolism. Just eat a ton, but not like cheese or fatty things - and ALWAYS eat something w/ good protein right after a workout, otherwise your muscles will just eat themselves. 6 meals a day - including 2-3 protein/energy bars b/w bigger meals.
